9 Rohingya detained in Comilla
9 Rohingyas have been arrested in Comilla Sadar South Model thana police arrested them from the Jangalia bus stand area of Comilla city on noon. All of the detainees were sheltering in the Balochali Rohingya camp of Ukhia upazila of Cox's Bazar. The GD has been made in this regard and the process of sending them to the camp is under process.
It is known that the police team led by Assistant Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Mahmud Hossain detained 9 Rohingyas on Tuesday at around 12:30 am from the Jangalia bus stand area of the city. Among them there are a man, 4 women and 4 children.
Officer-in-Charge of Sadar South Model Police Station Nazrul Islam told that the locals informed the police about their detention after being arrested in Jangalia bus stand. Later, they were confined and confessed to fleeing the camp when they were interrogated with the police.
