Obaidul Quader in Parliament: In December, efforts are being made to finish Padma bridge work
Road transport and construction minister Obaidul Quader said that all efforts to complete the construction of Padma bridge by December this year are continuing.
Today, the Minister of Labor has said these things at the Jatiya Sangsad question-answer session on Thursday. The question-answer session was held after the meeting of the Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury in the chairmanship of the Speaker.
Responding to the question of Selina Begum, MP of the reserved constituency, Obaidul Quader said, "due to the variation of the soil layer of the Padma, there is a slight delay in finalizing the design of pail in 14 peer locals. In such a situation, the process of speedy settlement of the country and abroad is going on. The overall physical progress of Padma Bridge project is 50 percent. A bridge has been installed in the bridge. '
Obaidul Kader said, 'Another span will be set in this month (January 19th). Along with the pile driving and peer columns, the remaining spans are phased gradually and all efforts are being made to complete the construction of the bridge by December of this year.
