arrested in Malaysia on charges of human trafficking
Bangladeshi film director Ananya
Mamun has been arrested in Kuala Lumpur for organizing a cultural program named
'Cinematic Bangladeshi Nights'. Mamun was arrested on Sunday with local police
associate Miraj, local police said on Sunday.
The accused against the unique
Mamun, he came with the name of the ceremony to bring 57 people to Malaysia for
trafficking. Police detained these 57 people for initial interrogation.
Bangladeshi High Commissioner to
Bangladesh Shahidul Islam said on Monday evening, "The incident came to

Unique Mamun organized the
cultural program titled 'Cinematic Bangladeshi Nights' at the Wizma MCA Center
in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday. He is one of the organizers of the event. A team
of Bangladeshi artists led by him led the event. In this team, director
Debashish Biswas, musicians Asif Akbar, screenwriter Irene, sweet paradise,
filmmaker silent, Emon, Aman Reza, model and actress Anika Kabir Shaikh, Ashna
Habib Bhabna, Kabir Tithi and Gun Teag Chakrit.
Debashish Biswas, the producer of
the film 'Cinematic Bangladeshi Nights' was another film producer Debashish
Biswas. He said, "The unique Mamun behind the show is committing crimes
like death trafficking, they knew that we did not know anything about it."

to Malaysia. Took money from each of them. All of the detainees have confessed
to the Malaysian police.
When Bangladesh Film Directors
Association President Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar was attracted to this, he said,
"It is a very serious crime. Due to such activities, the director of the
Bangladeshi film and the coach will go out of the country later, all of them
have to be unnecessarily harassed. After returning to the country, we will
arrange exemplary punishment for the crimes committed by Mamun.
