United Nations Human Rights Organization Special Envoy Young Hey Lee came to the camp to see the Rohingya situation.

The UN Human Rights Organization's special envoy Yang He Lee has come to the Teknaf camp in Cox's Bazar to see the humanitarian situation of Rohingyas fleeing Rakhine in the face of Myanmar military campaign. On Saturday morning at 9am, he came to Teknaf's Dumdemia Rohingya camp. Later he looked around the camp and saw the camp.

After a meeting with 10 men and 10 women fleeing from Myanmar in the Teknaf Nature Park in the United Nations, the United Nations special envoy heard the abuse on them.

He was accompanied by the International Migration Organization (IOM) and the officials of the international donor organization engaged in camps.

Young Hey Leigh is scheduled to visit Nayapara Rohingya camp at Teknaf around 12 noon.

In context, UN special envoy Yang Hey Lee reached Dhaka on Wednesday night and came to Cox's Bazar on Friday afternoon.

He is due to visit Myanmar this month, but due to the sanctions he came to Bangladesh instead of Myanmar. He will stay in Bangladesh for seven days on tour.

Myanmar army launched Rakhine massacre in August last year. At around 6 lakh Muslims fled to Bangladesh in the Rohingya refugees. Bangladesh and Myanmar recently signed the agreement on their return.
