State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak said that 50 percent of the government service is currently under e-governance. We plan to increase the high speed internet connectivity by 50 percent through broadband by 2021.

He said the government will give free WiFi to the people by connecting them with high speed broadband internet connectivity across the country. These steps are being taken by the Info government through three projects.

The ICT department has planned to provide employment to 2 million young people in the next three years. That's why learning and earning projects are being implemented. Urging all the young people to take ICT training, he said that this year 40 thousand youths will be trained from the IT department of the union at the union level. Of these, 4000 women will be made fit as freelancers and enterprinarians. Those who work from the district, upazila and union level. They will be given Tk. 20 thousand for 9 months training along with internship opportunity to buy laptops.

State Minister of ICT said that under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the IT department has made compulsory information technology education from sixth grade to tenth class in digitization of education. We have plans to add information technology to primary school. Programming competition at primary school level is being organized this year to teach children and children's programming.

Work of establishing Sheikh Russell Digital Lab is going on in more than 5,000 educational institutions of the country. He also said that the government, Smart City, National Cyber ​​Security Council, National Security Agency, Digital Forensic Lab and Sheikh Hasina are working to establish Institute of Future Technology.
