Now the T20 League in Afghanistan
The popularity of the franchisee based T20 league is increasing day by day. After the IPL in 2008, Pakistan has also hosted BPL, Australian Big Bash, South Africa's Ram-Slam, County Twenty Blast, and the West Indies CPL series. Sri Lanka could not hold continuation after the SLPL started.
Afghanistan has also planned to enter the 'commercial cricket' of this cricket format, which is at the peak of popularity. The franchise-based Twenty20 league has been named by the 'Afghan Premier League (APL)'. Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with the tournament has already been signed. The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has fixed the day-to-day date of the tournament. The league will be held in October this year.
