China and North Korea trade halfway
The impact of UN sanctions on China-North Korea has been tremendously impressive. Last year, the sanctions imposed on North Korea in two phases led to the decline in trade with China in half.
International news media quoted China's Customs Agency as saying that in December last year, their trade with North Korea dropped by more than 50 percent.
The Customs Agency said on Friday that imports from North Korea dropped by more than 81 percent. After the ban, China has imported only 5 crore 40 million dollars from the country.
And only 23.4 percent of the contract has been exported to the country at this time.
The reference is to the United Nations by imposing sanctions on North Korea's latest ballistic missile test.
The restriction has been suggested to reduce the supply of 90 percent of the oil supply to North Korea. Besides, migrant workers working in different countries will be sent back to Bangladesh within 12 months. And North Korean citizens were asked to return in the next 24 months.
At the same time, restrictions have also been imposed on export of parts and electronics materials. The list also includes the country's readymade garments.
