Indian citizens working in Bangladesh are taking 32 thousand crore rupees annually. This money is going in the legal way.

On the other hand, about the equivalent amount of illegal money is going to India. As a result, the staff of India is taking about 64 thousand crore taka every year.

Former Bangladesh Ambassador of Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BIE) Faruk Sobhan said this at a roundtable meeting organized by the Policy Research Institute (PRI), a private research institute. The program was organized at Banani.
