The law enforcing agencies have provided extensive security to the entire capital around the last night's celebration of the year.
On Sunday night, Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara and Dhaka University areas will be tight-ridden - police has already told them. RAB helicopter patrol in different areas since the evening.
RAB's Additional Director General Colonel Anwar Latif Khan said, "The RAB helicopter patrol system by launching a search light in the beginning of the new year, the RAB helicopter patrol system, after reaching the meeting roundabout two rounds of bullet at 8pm,
He said that the patrol will be run by helicopter at 12.30pm for some time. Besides, RAB members will continue to search the security in important junctions and special areas.
The RAB official said, "There is no threat of any kind of attack, but we have arranged security by keeping everything in mind, without any separation." Work is going on in coordination with all organizations. "
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police had earlier told the court that the ceremony could not be arranged at the open place including the roof of the house on the Thirty First Night. There will be spots or fireworks too forbidden.
No one is allowed to enter the Hatirjheel area since 8pm. Besides, the Dhaka University, Gulshan-Banani and Baridhara areas will not be allowed to enter the outside.
